Even as a puppy, Tetley had an air about her that was above it all. Throughout her whole life, she was the queen of all her kingdom. She was the "in charge" dog here but never once bothered to or needed to exercise any show of force or flex of muscle. It was presumed by all her humble servants that she was the person in control of all things and she never needed to demonstrate her position. Her temperament was as stable as the day was long and throughout her life nothing ever caused her to miss a beat. She was friendly and outgoing and could be counted on to interact with anyone in any situation at any time.

She was a very extreme bitch in proportions with long legs, exaggerated neck and tremendous angulation. Beautiful black eyes and lovely long head topped off her exotic breed type.

Tetley eventually tied and then broke the all time record for champions with an ultimate 18. Her puppies looked like Tetley puppies and were easily identifiable. Her production ability was exciting since she could be bred to all styles of dogs but the resulting get were still reminiscent of Tetley's qualities.

Even though Tetley was herself an OFA Good and came from a litter and pedigree strong for hips, she had some trouble producing a great hip record. There were more dysplastics and OFA Fairs than I would care to have from one bitch. In subsequent generations, and especially when bred to descendants of Tinsel who was an excellent producer of hips, the hips improved and her contribution was a positive one.

Tetley had two sons who were Group winners a son who was Best Of Opposite at the Briard National, a son who was Reserve at the Briard National, and four others who were multiple group placers and/or top ten Briards.
